Meet Adam

How often does a wife get to write about her husband? Not often enough! Let’s get started. My husband’s name is Nicholas Adam Howard. He grew up close to Atlanta, GA in Conyers. He has a wonderful family! His parents have always been supportive and hard working. Adam grew up with his older brother Seth who is seven years older than him. Adam exceled in high school playing baseball and leading the marching band as drum major and so much more. After graduating from Heritage high school in 2012, he was one of the first people to be awarded the Valdosta State University Honors Scholars Scholarship. He packed up his boxes and headed down to south Georgia for college!

Adam is one of those people who knew exactly what he wanted to do in college. He started, learned a lot then finished his degree in Athletic Training through the college of Nursing and Health Sciences. His junior year, Adam did a clinical rotation at Valdosta Orthopedics Associates (VOA) and they have employed him ever since his college graduation in May 2016. Adam now works as the lead tech for one of the surgeons and an Athletic Trainer at VOA and is responsible for covering Clinch county high school football team. Go Panthers!
AdamWhen Adam is not at work or with the football team he can be found playing disc golf or playing music to procrastinate finishing his medical school pre-requisite classes! Adam is one of those guys who is good at everything. He can school you at bowling, disc golf, board games, trivia, and pretty much any other game or weird sport. Adam enjoys serving our church by helping with the worship service and set up. He loves to learn and understand how things work. Adam is great at picking up an instrument and figuring out how to play it. And he is great at meeting new people and always connecting with them in some common interest.

What drew me to Adam was how well he gets along with people. His smile and personality light up any room. His heart and desire to help people encourages me to be a better person. His jokes aren’t very funny but somehow, they make me laugh until I cry. His joy for life makes me live happier every single day! I love this man and I am so excited to share more about him and his journey of applying for medical school.

Keep your head up high and your words filled with love!

-Colleen Howard
